We are perfectly located in the remote picturesque hamlet of Highleigh. The perfect base to explore the beautiful and stunning local area of Chichester. We are only ten minutes from the golden sand dunes of West Wittering, whilst also only being 20 minutes from Glorious Goodwood and its numerous events, which include Festival of Speed and Revival! With so much beautiful rolling countryside to explore, we also highly recommend you bring along your hiking boots. We can advise you and tell you about so many local attractions.. but here are just a few of our favourites to wet your appetite.

West Wittering Beach

The magnificent picturesque beach of West Wittering is only a ten minute drive away from us. This glorious expansive sandy beach is one of the top ranking beaches in the UK. It is such a popular beach that we highly recommend arranging parking prior to your visit. For more information visit 

Goodwood Festival of Speed & Revival

The world famous events of Goodwood's Revival and Festival of Speed are only a twenty minute drive away. We highly recommend booking both this event and accomodation well in advance.. They are extremely popular!

Glorious Goodwood Races

Glorious Goodwood Racecourse, the world's most picturesque race course  perched on top of the South Downs with breath taking views of The Sussex Downs,The Solent & The Isle Of Wight,just a 20 minute drive away.

Our beautiful City of Chichester, with its 2000 years of history and Roman beginnings, which can be depicted by the intact Roman wall that surrounds our beautiful city. Nearly 70% lies within the stunning South Downs National Park. In fact there is so much to explore, we highly recommend packing those hiking boots! For more information visit..

Tinwood Vineyard Tours

Who doesn't love a glass of bubbly?! We are extremely fortunate to have one of England's finest sparkling wine vineyards on our doorstep. Lying at the foot of the South Downs this is definitely a not to miss attraction. Why not spend an afternoon exploring the area, learning about the vines and of course tasting them too ... 

Chichester Festival Theatre

During your stay with us, why not take in a show at the fantastic  Chichester Theatre. Since opening in 1962 it has seen a number of its shows reach the West End. With a number of famous actors living locally, you may be lucky and spy a few on your visit. For more information and latest shows...

Chichester Cathedral

The beautiful Chichester Cathedral which was built in 681 by St Wilfred is another place we recommend to wander around at your leisure. It has been described by the architectural critic Ian Nairn as "the most typical English Cathedral". The perfect location to then look around the City.

Bosham Harbour

Bosham Harbour is not only the location of our wedding! but happens to be one of the most beautiful spots in West Sussex. Whether you wish to wander around the ancient church, which is shown on the Bayeux Tapestry, or the many quaint tearooms. Take care not to leave your car on the shoreline as on high tide the sea can reach the High Street!

Chichester Marina

Chichester Marina is a five minute drive or just a twenty minute cycle away, through Birdham Marina. Based in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is a fantastic place to wander around, enjoy a coffee or light lunch or simply use it as a base for a dog walk. 

The Lamb

Just a ten minute drive from us, The Lamb is one of our favourite local traditional pubs. Serving real ale, fine wines and  substantial meals either around the gorgeous log fire or outside in their generous beer garden. 

Crab & Lobster

Based on the edges of Pagham Nature Reserve, just five minute drive from us, The Crab & Lobster is another local fine dining restaurant. The perfect place for a celebration.

Crown & Anchor

Overlooking the Chichester Harbour, This gorgeous 16th century pub is another of our local and favorite places. Based just ten minutes from us it serves a range of food whether you prefer fine dining inside or bar snacks with stunning views over the water, outside!

Purchases is Chichester's number one restaurant for fine dining and cocktails experience. Fifteen minute drive away, it is highly advisable to book ahead. you wont be dissapointed. 

Nags Head

One of chichester's oldest traditional pubs, serving fine ale's in a relaxed atmosphere along with an extensive pub menu, including weekend carvery. One of our favourites in over thirty years!

Earl of March

The Earl of March is a terrific country pub located in the village of Lavant. Overlooking Goodwood and the South Downs you have options of fine dining inside or out. Wow what a view! 

Cider House Kitchen

The Cider House is our absolute favourite Pasta and Pizza restaurant. We visit very regularly and are never disapointed. True italian fair, you will love it as much as we do!
